1. Too much friction before trust is built
Many e-commerce sites ask visitors to make decisions before they’ve earned confidence. Unclear value propositions, missing social proof, or buried shipping/return info create hesitation. If shoppers don’t quickly understand what you sell, why it’s worth it, and what happens after checkout, they leave.
2. Great products, weak buying flow
This is incredibly common. Beautiful products paired with confusing navigation, cluttered product pages, or unnecessary steps in the checkout process. Every extra click, slow load, or moment of uncertainty costs conversions—especially on mobile, where most traffic lives.
3. Marketing that stops at “getting traffic”
Traffic alone doesn’t drive revenue. Too many stores focus on ads or SEO without aligning the website experience to match that traffic’s intent. When messaging, visuals, and calls-to-action don’t line up, visitors bounce instead of buying. Marketing and the website have to work together.
